Challenge

Delivery of the project during Berth planned process outage. Our client a key distributor of fuels for the British market. Due to our client’s berthing operations and fixed shipping schedule constraints, no fixed access platforms could be installed.

Solution

Mechanical change-out of Berth Pulleys utilising IRATA rope access team.

Planning process was to be adhered to by all cross-party teams and personnel. 

Benefits

The implementation of IRATA trained mechanical and rigging personnel, significantly reduced the project schedule, ~60% cost savings were realised by our client, primarily due to access solution efficiencies.

No disruption to berthing operations, maintaining shipping operations as planned.
