Challenge

Through web defects found during inspection of Hose Rig Support Beams. 

Limited site availability due to operational constraints, which restricted both access and repair method strategies. 

Solution

Carry out over plating weld repairs to Hose Rig beams utilising IRATA rope access team. 

Benefits

The use of rope access significantly reduced the project schedule, ~300% cost savings were realised by our client, primarily due to access solutions.

No disruption to shipping logistics, maintaining business operations as planned.
